Instructor: Kris Greening
Participants will learn and practice some basic hand embroidery stitches, then put together a small project: either an embroidered pin cushion or an embroidered needle holder. Note: Embroidery supplies are included but students will need to bring their own tools: small, sharp scissors and a small embroidery hoop.
Kris first started embroidering when she was a young child and today enjoys many fiber arts including knitting, tatting, sewing, weaving, cross stitch and embroidery. She likes to teach and encourage others to enjoy fiber arts and has taught knitting several times. She is enthusiastic about the resurgence of embroidery and is eager to share this craft.
